gimmee three steps

yup! three steps! i took them tonight when mommy left me Standing Alone in the middle of the room while she was on the phone with grandma and boy was it ever FUN to walk! mommy was so Pleased, too! i've taken two steps, here and there - once last week, and earlier this week. but these were the Surest steps so far! soon, i will chase the dogs - and kitty won't be able to escape me as easily. ha HA! i say!

i also created a new game a few days ago. when mommy is sitting on the floor, i stand behind her and laugh really hard. then i say, "iiiiiiiiiiii-eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! iiiiiiii-eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" sometimes i scratch her back if she asks, and sometimes i just hug her. she looks over her shoulder at me and that sends me into a fit of laughter. sometimes mommy says, 'i see you with my one big eye' as she leans into look in my eye Really Close-like. that is funny too. i have also mastered waving, blowing kisses, Gently Gently brushing my hair (like in my tickle tickle book), and Standing dancing! i also like to give love - a snuggle hug follwed by a kiss. i also like very much to copy mommy's word sounds. someday, i will have many words! as many as mommy and daddy!

today we went for walk to the coffee shop. i played with everyone and cried when one of the owners tried to play with me. i always cry when he tries to play with me. mommy can't figure why. i like to be Mysterious sometimes.

next weds i will be one! earlier, i watched mommy dye my playsilks with kool-aid! they are nice. purple, blue, red and yellow. mommy ruined one color, it was icky greenbrownpoo color. we see enough of that color in my diapy. i'm not posedta know they exist yet, cause they are a Birthday Present. but i do. i would like them Now.

well, i would like to go look at the cookbook before mommy takes it to send a recipe to our friend. one with turnips involved. she's been meaning to, but hasn't yet. tonight is the night.
