birthday pictures

here a few random pictures... some at the zoo - most of it was closed cause of Building, so i only saw a few am-inals. i did rub a buddha belly, to make a wish. i won't tell what.

other pictures are at the house - opening presents, eating bunny cake that didn't quite turn out how mommy thought it would, and doing a first birthday korean Tradition called tol. mommy put four items in front of me - a pencil, a dollar, a paintbrush, a yarn. i had to choose two items. tradition has it that what i choose will be my lot in life. the money means i'll be rich, the pencil means i'll be a scholar, the yarn means i'll have a long life, the paintbrush means i'll be a painter. the last one isn't traditional, but mommy thought we should add some.

i chose the pencil, then the paintbrush, then back to the pencil, then back to the paintbrush. i couldn't decide!
