i had SO MUCH FUN!!! my older lady girlfriend (she's 6!) let me borrow her old oompa loompa costume for dressing up in! mommy was kinda scared about the orange face paint after it stained her finger, so she only put it on my cheeks. and it was cold, so i wore a hat. and i wanted to wear my Bear Feet slippers. but i was still oompa, all the way through!
we went over to Treat in the shops across town. i liked to see the other costumes and i ran all around. i didn't care so much about getting candy, but i had a little bag. when we left, mommy took the bag up to the front seat with her. i haven't seen it again since. hmmmmm....
oh! there was also a big fox there. mommy said he was a man in a fox suit. i ran right up to pet his leg. i'm Very Curious, you see. the other kids were afraid, but i know no fear. the big people thought i was funny for being so brave.
then i went to the bookstore to drop daddy off and to play with jason. jason threw me all around, until i told him, "off!" then i ran back to play with the books and the coffee grinder. VRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMM!
when we got home, mommy lit the candle in jack so that other treaters would come to our house. i helped mommy hand out candy. i would get a handful, throw it in the bag, and say, "all done! bye-bye!" we ran out of candy fast and mommy had to call my other girlfriend next door to see if they still had a lot of candy left. they did. so we handed out candy until 9:30! there is one piece left.
next year, mommy says we can go all around the neighborhood, too. that will be fun. i'm not sure how i will dress up yet. it is a Long Time from now.

The costume is too, too cute!
I have a photo of your mama when she was 10 years old, dressed as Pippi Longstockings for Halloween. Let me know when you need some blackmail material, and it's yours, sweet boy.
What a sweetheart you are, little guy!
I just love your little site.
