so i've been taking my diapy off lately to make pee on the floor. mommy thinks it's too early for a Potty, but she and daddy got me one anyway. so i can look at it. and talk about it. and get Used to it. i like to sit there and stuff. sometimes i put my toys in it. WELL, tonight, just a few minutes ago, i took my diapy off again, and mommy asked if i wanted to sit on my potty. very excitedly, i nodded yes. i sat there for a little while and mommy read me a book. when the book was finished, i pointed down into my potty and there was PEE! mommy was SO excited for me! so excited, that i hopped right off to get a better look and clap about it all! we did a happy dance and mommy told me how proud she was of me. she said yay a lot, too! i was beaming. i'am getting to be such a Big Boy now. then we washed my potty out and put on a fresh diapy. it is almost time for nigh-nigh. i have new words too. i like to say po-TAY-toooooe. and bwok-o-leee. and baffroom. and mommy's favorite is iYUVyou. i think because she always gets a hug when i say that. i tell it to daddy and the kitty, and the doggies too. sometimes i hug myself and say it. i yuv love. when mommy tells me no, i like to shake my finger at her and say it back to her, Very seriously. i know the doggies names now, too. i call out to them. and they come. i'am alpha riley. i also can say my aunt hallie's name. ha-YEE. ha-YEE. it makes her and mommy smile. someday, i will have sentences. i like to talk. i also like to read my baby stories.
the other day i surprised mommy. she asked me if i would like to show my baby how to play the guitar. i nodded yes. i took my baby into the playroom. then i sat my baby next to the guitar and took his hand and strummed.
