holy molars, batman!

all i can (or can't) say is OOOWWWWEEEEEEEE! dr. holly saw toothsies poking through at my appointment last week, but i have been brave and haven't fussed too much. i know i need the toothsies for chewing. so it's ok. but early this morning i woke up crying. mommy and daddy thought that maybe i had a bad dream - like that all of the avacado and hummus in the world ran out. or that my baby went missing. or that mr. purple's nose quit sqweaking. or that bush attacked iran. or something terrible like that. but i knew it was these teethsies. my gums are swollen, too. hurry teethsies, hurry!!!!

i surprised mommy with my new signs this week. i've been using my sign for 'milk' for lots of weeks now, but there are new ones to add, i've learned! i know how to ask for 'more.' i also know how to sign 'no more.' the sign for 'play' makes me laugh. and the ones for 'kitty' and 'doggy' are fun to do too. i recognize the sign for thirsty/drink, but i don't like my sippy cup that much yet. so i don't use that one. i have a few words i like to say, though, too. uh-oh is my favorite! i drop my toy, uh-oh! i throw my toy, uh-oh! i fall down go boom, uh-oh! when i pick up the phone, i say, 'heyo' or 'hi.' there's also ma-ma and da-da, of course. i like to point at me sometimes and say ma-ma. or da-da. every once in awhile, i say be-be. i say 'voom voom' when i'm playing cars. and 'weeeeeee' when i put my little people on the slide and they go down. i also know al's name and i call out to him. doggies are funny. they lick me and it tickles. i have a favorite song, too. it goes, do do... do do do... do do... do do doooooooo. i can't stop dancing. or singing.

i've also found body parts! eye, nose, ear, mouth, hair, toes, belly button. saying eye is fun, too. i also like to scratch daddy's back. he likes the back scratches. mommy thinks i'm the silliest. she covers me in the kisses and loves all day long. sometimes i run from her when she wants to change my diapy. that is funniest!

we play a lot. and read books together. i love my books. mommy will have to finish school this summer and i will help her turn the pages when she reads. i will take her books away, too - and hide them when she needs a break. mommy studies really hard. she says she wants to make good marks. i have promised to help her with her papers. soon she will be all edumacated and we will play the days away! yay!

i have to have my nap now. my eyes are tired. then i will have lunch. then we will go to the bookstore. then grandma and grandpa will come visit me. that is all.
